INTRODUCTION
Cleaning is simply the process of removing dirt or stain from a surface , item or fabric .
Dirt is any substance that soils a surface of an item by making it not clean or contaminated.
Dirt on laboratory wares can be classified into;
- Superficial dirt
- Obstinate dirt
Superficial dirt is easy to clean by simply applying a brush and a commercial washing detergent containing an abrasive, which do not scratch the apparatus
Obstinate dirt is relatively hard to remove. They require application of relatively stronger stain removers in addition to applying an abrasive and an ordinary washing detergents.
